Different puke bottle question...
For all you guys that have removed the puke bottle. How was it held on?
I removed mine today and there was about a 3" long chunk of 3/4" copper pipe clamped in there. Must have been the previous owner...

Yeah, mine had the zip tie clamp to the timing cover. The copper pipe was shoved into the rubber hose and extended down into the bottle itself. Looked like just plain copper water pipe. I had some old 3/4" fuel line from a bulk tank laying around, so I used it to extend it down when I took the bottle off.
I got about a 3 or 4' section of hose, so I could run it down by the drivers side tire, tie wrapped to something near there. This keeps the oil from dripping & blowing back on the pan & tranny, although may be a non issue.
Some people are concerned in cold climes, as this could freeze up with water vapor, maybe. Not an issue here.

Mine was held on with a nut on the bottle. I removed bottle and put on a piece of gas/diesel fuel pump hose and routed it to air box (got tired of haze). Every oil change I just change air filter and have not had any problems.
