99 24v when you get to around 2000 rpms it cuts out and is jerky then it will take off again. i pushed the clutch in when it cut out and the truck died. IT will not start back up when u turn the key acts like its not gettin fuel so i just put it back in gear and poped the clutch and it started back. i changed the fuel filter yesterday and the camshaft sesnor today it keeps doin it i put fuel in it too just incase the fuel gauage was wrong. I'm gettin codes P1689 and P0382. any ideas on what to try next?

 

Get the codes read at auto zone or a dealer.
It has the symptoms of a bad Vp-44 injection pump.
