So I have had a bit of dead peddal off and on every since I bought my truck in March. I check codes every couple of weeks and nothing. Well on the 4th I driving around burnning some $3.00 a gal Fuel and the DP was realy bad got home and the codes popped up. so I called the dealer ship I bought it at,got to them today and they said I get a new pump .
this is were it gets frustating. When I bought the truck the sale dummy said "O' this truck has had thelift pump upgrade where they move the pump to the tank" and I think well I think thats ok. So back to today the wrench working on my truck tells me he remembers my truck 'cause it had some funky fuel pump on it and he goes on telling me about the spin off filters mounted on the frame. I am thinking I got hosed. any way on my way back to the office I pass by a local speed shop I have been wanting to visit so I do start talking to the owner tell him about my truck at the dealership we stert talking about pumps and he ends up decribing my truck to a key, and he is the one that helped the wrench remove it and now its on his truck
