Re:Cummins running REALLY BAD!!!

But what if it doesnt blow into the coolant passage? Wouldnt get oil in the rad. Also no bubbles. as we are not getting. BUT that CKP sensor is a good lead. I am not sure they dealership would want to Wnty this train wreck or not. Its still under Wnty. I am not getting the same codes as the gent that had the bad CKP. BUT it is a code for one. Might lookin into that. Thanks for the help!

Re:Cummins running REALLY BAD!!!

CKP sensor...where the heck is it! I got the new one and cked around the starter and fuel filter area and have found nothing that looks like what i got. I have cked with dodge and they said i got the right one. They told me i had to pull the starter but i have looked under and around it and did not see anything to constitute pulling it. I do see a sensor in the side of the block near the starter but its round (Looks like a MAP sensor). Any hints?

I cant find any spark plugs to pull to check compression.........[/quote]

Do you really mean that?

There is a Diesel Adaptor,, takes the place of your injectors. You are on your own to find that item. No idea's here.

I'd say a blown headgasket.

How's the blow by? Oil Level?
