CrankCase vent pressure

I know this has been talked about alot but I can not find out just how much air coming out of the tube is too much. Mine at idol is a constant blow. Is this OK??

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
The Cummins test for worn out rings is measure blowby volume at a specific hp. CFM above certain number and blowby excessive and need of overhaul.
If you can't stop flow with very light thumb pressure at idle, it's probablly to much.

I have had several CTD's, just seems like I can see more of the fumes/vapor coming out of this motor than the others. Is being able to see it come out of the tube normal? I can stop it by putting my thumb on it, with some pressure.
