Crankcase vent catch bottle part #?
Crankcase vent catch bottle part #?
Changing my oil this week I notice the catch bottle for my crankcase vent was missing. I had been putting off relocating it, I guess now I have a good excuse. Does anyone know the part number for the catch bottle off hand? How about the size hose I'll need relocate the bottle?
I think most guys would rather replace the bottle with a longer hose and route it down under the engine. Should be 3/4" hose. Do a search for the breather hose and you'll find lots of reading and ideas.
Heres some thing to consider. Ill have these reposted on E bay in about another week. I, and those who have bought them seem to like this hook up just fine.

No rubber hose used that with kink or plug... Cost only about $10 bucks...

Some good ideas but I'd rather have the oil that does make it to the end of my extension end up in the catch bottle which I can empty at each oil change. I still need the part number for the catch bottle if anyone has it.

Out of curiousity why vent the valve cover into the crankcase vent with that setup?
