coolant change, how much do I need??

How many gallons of Antifreeze am I going to need ?
Is there drains on the engine block? If so where.
Any tips on getting all the coolant out? Anything I need to know on refilling? Bleeding? Air pockets? I am going to use FLeetguard Complete. Thanks for the help.

Just take off the bottom radiator hose and drain your system. You have to raise the rear of the truck A-LOT to get it all out. The entire system holds about 7 gallons if my memory is right.

The system holds five gallons. If you are a little short for the overflow tank, top it off with distilled water. Use no tap water in the truck.

If your changing the coolant remove the overflow bottle and clean it out while your at it. You will be amazed at the amount of junk that you will see in the bottom of that thing.

Holds roughly 24 liters. After I drain it and am ready to put the new stuff in a dump one liter in the over flow bottle and 11 liters in the rad then top off with water.

Good Luck

P.S Pull the lower rad hose to drain like was previously stated.

How often should you flush your radiator? I've got 58K miles on my truck. Original coolant. It's still bright neon green. I'm thinking it should be ok but I just want to make sure.

I just keeping adding the coolant additive to mine every year. The coolant is still nice and clean so I am not to owrried about it. When the water pump goes I will change the coolant then. Did remove the overflow bottle though and cleaned all the crud out of that thing..
