Convertor unlocking

I have been having trouble with this torque converter unlocking and locking back up for no reason for the last few years. I have blown the brushes out on the alternator several times and it has worked for months after that, Then I run the extra grounds to the TPS. That worked for a few months. Then a new alternator, that worked for a years. Now it is doing it under high amp load on alternator (heater fan on high and light on). Shut everything down and it works fine. Just replace the alternator again, and it's still doing it. What should I do now?

Thanks

Dan

Make sure all grounds are clean and tight....this can/will cause converter shift issues. Ck under the driver batt, pass fender well and on the firewall. Not sure about the alt, but begin eliminating things one by one.

cleaned the grounds and add one to a pin on the PCM. Worked good last weekend. I will see how long it last this time.
