Just got back from Vegas, 3646 mi. round trip, over heated within sight of the Eisenhower tunnel, no loss of anti-freeze or boil over,turner heater on and temp dropped, went on into Breckenridge and lift pump quit,left Breckenridge into Vegas on I-70 at I-70 and I-15 over heated again turned heat on all the way to Vegas outside temp110 what a long ride. Dealer in vegas did an oil change,new anti-freeze and thermostat for only $511.00 Left Vegas for St.Louis no over heat ran unusually cool for my truck got home and had a p0602 code, what can cause this, From Breckenridge to Vegas truck smoked badly and spooled slowly if you ask me, any help out there thank's Don

 

P0602 is caused by your Smarty....

 

You can ignore the code!
Everything before Vegas was probably the failed Lift pump!

I think there is a software update that will take care of the code.

 

Good point. Did not realize, till you mention it, but when I updated Smarty software the code stopped showing up.
it did reappear once, when I installed bigger injectors, but not since!

I get the same code with my Predator. Nothing to worry about.
