Thanks in advance for any help.I'm pulling my hair out here. I've got an 01 5.9 with a 6 speed. Engine light came on some time ago and it's displaying 2 codes 1492 battery temp. to low and 1493 battery to high. What I've done so far is change the battery temp. sensor. No change. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance Dave in Reno

 

how old are your battery's ...i had the same thing happen awhile back and it turned out that my batteries were toast

 

I've never changed the Batteries. I figured as long as it cranked over they were good. But thanks I'll do a load test on them tomorrow.
