Code 0121

I just took my truck to a local autozone. They scanned it for me and the code that was brought up was P-0121. The scanner had said something about a acceleration sensor or something. I was wondering what this code had ment and what the part(s) are. Thanks for any information.

Thats the APPS.
Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor.

Might try the generic reset procedure.

I had the exact same thing happen to me today(check engine light on, no acceleration, code 0121). I did the apps reset and my pedal works now, but the check engine light is still on. Will it just go off on its own at some point?

Did you read the codes again? Disconnecting the batteries should have cleared the code.
