Cheap vp44?
I now cheap is relative when concerning the VP... but a buddy of mine in tech school just had his VP die on him. A local injection pump shop quoted him at $1400... hes not sure if that included installation though. I told him if it did then that wouldn't be too terrible. But I think its something we could do, he doesn't daily drive the truck so we could take our time... and possibly save him a couple hundred in the mean time.
I know you can find them for cheaper then $1400 used... any places that sell remans for cheaper then that?

plenty of reputable shops selling them for $1100 with a 1 year warrenty, it is a 2 hour repair start to finish if u are prepared and have all the tools, and know what u r doing. ive read on hear some have done it faster.

Be careful... still some of the Checz pumps floating around (black outer case) that don't last very well, IMO.
Your near Industrial Injection. I would check with them. They are a Bosch repair station and do good work. Their price is $1020.00 plus shipping.?

Depending on what is bad with the pump you could possibly do the rebuild on one. They sell the rebuild kits for these pumps, you can find them on ebay for about $60, but that is if it isn't the electronics that have went bad, in which case it has to be put on a bosch bench to be calibrated.
