Cheap fuel Pressure upgrades

I've been reading up on posts about fuel pump options but I couldn't find much on what to do if you already have the in-tank lift pump conversion. All I want to do is something to get my fuel pressure up enough to handle the Adrenaline. Currently it idles at 5psi and drops to 0 when accelerating a decent amount. What's a cheap reliable pump I can add and what's the best way to deal with the in-tank setup?

I think from my own experience that a self made Walbro is the golden mean of low cost and good reliability.
FASS are great but expensive. Carters and Holleys are less expensive but often less reliable. In-tank dealer options are not very good at all, and I am yet to convince someone who is looking for a system to make their own perfect in-tank setup. I think the latter could be done very well and for less than anything else.
But most people prefer to buy a kit and go with it, even if for more money. I like to experiment but my own system is lasting, so what am I to do - scrap a perfectly running system and experiment?..

So what did you do with the walbro? Install it inline and it draws through the intank setup? Do you let that one run in addition to the walbro?

Raptor pump.

Great upgrade, reasonable cost, lifetime warranty.

I just sucked it up and went with a FASS hplp. No problems even at -39. The other pumps I've heard, do not like the cold weather. I need mine for work year round...

I did not have an in-tank pump. If I did, I would remove it when I lowered the tank to install the return line, anyway and replace it with a simple pick-up or a draw straw. From what I heard the in-tank pump does not allow decent, if any, amount of flow to be sucked through.
My setup is outlined in a thread linked in my signature.
