Centane?
Cetane?
What are the truths and myths of these type of additives? I have heard not to use it in the CTD. I have heard it's however OK for my Ford F350 7.3, what's the scoop?

I have been using Power Service for the lubricity additive and apparently it boosts the cetane number.
I can't tell, but most diesel additives claim to do this so I have always figured its acceptable.
You want to avoid the alcohol additives with a vp44 regularly, they are ok once in a while in a gelled fuel situation.

improved cetane is like octane in a gas powered, it only helps improve combustion...
it will work in any diesel, some vehs see more results, for example a lower hp veh like a jetta diesel, you will see a marked performance result
