I have a code for map voltage too low. TRuck barely smokes and boost seems normal. Used smarty to clear it and came back within a day. Is this a sign of dirty map? Might as well clean the iat while there if this is whats going on. I always thought a bad map normally fails in a way to cause excessive smoking.

 

I had this same issue, it was my map sensor connections to my intake breather not connected well.

maybe this is worth checking ??
