cam shaft sensor location

My truck died on me going down the highway today and the code i pulled was p0336, cam shaft sensor. can anyone tell me where it is located? please help!!!

Underneath the injection pump, real bugger to get to when the pump is on. Same place the TDC pin is on a mechanical engine.

I changed my cam sensor with the VP. Get air horn plumbing & accelerator linkage out of the way & you can change it. I think it took a torx bit but look it up in the FSM. pdftown for the 01 fsm if you don't have it.
