cam/crank sensor

it's been a while so refresh my memory. in the 2000 year model range, some trucks have crank position sensors and some have cam position sensors right? i have an 00 2500 and the tach is intermittent so i am thinking my sensor is out. i couldn't find a crank position sensor but i do find a cam sensor below the vp44. this is what i am after yes?
