cam change on 2001 24v

cam change on 2001 24v
im in process of changing the cam on a 2001 dodge the cam gear has two marks on e dot and two dot can anyone tell me which is for crank and which is for pump or if it even matters

The 2 dots on the pump gear line up with 1 dot on the cam gear 2 dots on the cam gear line up with 1 on the crank shaft. Align the single dot to the center of the 2 dots. Thanks Steve B.
