bypassing the life pump

bypassing the life pump

i have heard that you can bypass the lift pump. is that true and how do you do it. i have a pusher pump on my truck already. will that have enought psi for the injection pump.

You should not have to bypass the lp. Just user the pusher to the lift and the lift to the IP.
Tons of people do this without a problem.
If you need to bypass, just connect the input to the LP to the input for the fuel filter.

You won't really know if you have enough pressure until you check it with a pressure gauge...you can check my picture gallery for lots of fuel press. gauge pics.

i have a gauge and i can get it below 5psi sometimes. but more of the time is about 5psi WOT

Looks like a Vulcan Big Line kit w/Draw Straw is in your future and with the injector upgrade I plan on, a Draw Straw for me too.
