My tstat was actually broken. I have put the new one in but still can't get the temp up to 190*. It wiil almost get to 190* if I am running 90mph with the a/c on max. Other wise is still is staying at about the second mark. Think I could have gotten a bad new tstat. Everyone I've talked to doesn't seem to have a problem getting to 190*.

 

Your new one may be defective, and stuck open. Or, it may open at too low a temp, making it hard to get up to the proper operating temp.<br>Pull it out of there and put it in a pot of water on the stove, with a meat thermometer and see what temp it opens at.<br><br>Chris
