McMASTER CARR Part# 2545A16

"Hand Tap Extension for 1/2", 12mm & 12.5mm Tap Sizes"

"Extensions for hand tapping are 5" long, made of alloy steel, and come in sets of two that can be used separately or together as a 10" extension. The socket holds the square shank of the tap. Use with standard tap wrenches. "

Its $32.30 for a set of 2 so two people could split the cost.
