Okay over the past few weeks I have been have this boosting problem... My truck is pretty built I usually push about 44-50 pounds of boost butt all of sudden my truck will only push 30.. But every so often I will boost normal.... I have no codes. I do have a boost fooler. I do not know whag is going on I went to the a trusted mechanic and he said it could be my actuator is sticking to go home and test it. So I took it off and tested it putting air compressor and test it it
Goes in and out just fine... I was also told to take turbo off and clean it. Cuz soot can get built up. I even wired the waste gate shut and plugged the line to the actuator on wage gate. I really need help trying to figure out what is going on...

Listing what year truck and the mods you have done to it, would help people, help you.

 

Check fuel pressure, then check for boost leaks between turbo outlet and intake horn. Google intercooler pressure tester for ideas on how to test.
