Blow by bottle ?
I recently bought an 01' 2500 and noticed alot of oil sprayed on the underside of the motor, mostly drivers side.. I researched this site to try and find the exact location of the blow by bottle/ I put it on a lift at work and I followed the vent tube the oil looks to be coming out of up to a thing that actually looks more like a hockey puck than a bottle. Is this the bottle? if not where is it ? If you have'nt guessed by now I am not a diesel mechanic. dirt bikes , yes , diesels no. too many parts.. thanks

The bottle is on the end of the vent tube and looks like... well... a bottle. If you don't see it and only see the bare end of the vent tube, the previous owner has likely removed the bottle.

If you find that the previous owner removed it, you might want to add a 3/4" barbed plastic fitting and a piece of 3/4" heater hose to lengthen and route it below the engine to eliminate the mess you're getting.

The hockey puck you describe is where the hose connects to the engine. If there is no bottle on the other (lower ) end of the hose, then likely it has been removed. Route the hose down to the under side of the engine, and it will save you from having a mess in a almost impossible spot to clean.

I used exactly 3' of hose, and ran it straight down in between the axle and trac bar. It hangs down far enough but not too far.
I would suggest to check your radiator fins too...they're probably coated with scum that has stuck to the oil mist being pulled through by the fan.
My rad is coming out of the truck for a good cleaning when I do the 45k mile service. Then there should be no more future problems.
Some screen behind the grill helps too.
