Block number 23??????

Block number 23??????
I had the owner of the turkc I am looking at to see if he could find the number and he said that it has 23 on it. I do not want a truck with the 53 block in it and thats why I am asking. So has anybody ever heard of the number 23 on a block? Thanks! Paul
BTW. It's a 01.5 with the H.O diesel in it.
