Question Biodiesel or Fry-oil?

Ok... Here's a question for you oil burners.

Are (or have) any of you burned bio-diesel (80/20 mix which I know I have access too here locally) or even done the necessary conversion to burn vegtable oil?
I know of folks who have done the conversion on passenger cars and have had no touble. How about the CTD?

xp8103,

Yeah, I've burned B20 a couple of times. There aren't any station that are near where I live or else I'd burn it more often.
I haven't had any negative side effects and the positives are numerous. The biggest in my mind is less money going to some Middle Easterner.

In collage, the engines I serviced ran off of bio diesel, and the exhuast smelled like popcorn I thought it was way cool.I would love to cruise around in 5/5 and kick out pop corn smoke every where but i dont have access to any bio diesel.

I have run some soy-diesel and think it was a good thing.
It ran a little quieter, mileage wight have been better/ no worse.
I the next month or so I intend to have some fryer oil to try.
BTW, I put some of the soy diesel in my Kubota tractor B2150 and it was a noticable improvement. Les smoke better starts and a little quieter.
They just need to get the $$$ down t match dino.

Once it goes main stream, the price will drop considerably. I wish they had a station down here. I'd be willing to buy it.
