Buddy's auto is shot and wants to switch to a 6spd. Truck is an '03. Not really sure where to tell him to look though. Any help?

The best place to look is at the ones going down the road. However they are generally not for sale. So salvage yards, E-bay, craigs list, these forums and other forums are some potential places.

 

A good trans shop may be able to get you what you want or know of one lying around your neck of the woods. They aren't as hard to get parts for as rumored, I had a direct replacement the next day when mine wnet T U.
