Ok I got my truck back from having the DTT tranny put in and it works great, but now that the tranny isn't slipping it seems like when i give it full throttle it fuels way to much and it takes like an hour for the turbo to spool up, but if i only give it 1/4 to 1/2 the truck hauls butt and the turbo spools fast and just feels right but it i give it any more pedal it slows down.... and it doesn't have any codes and i checked it with my smarty...
could it be the APPS or TPS and if so were is it at on the motor and were to get one?

 

It doesn't sound like your APPS. The APPS usually sets a P0120-P0124 code. It sounds more like dead pedal from a dying VP. The VP doesn't always set a code ... I hope I'm wrong.

 

doesn't sound any different than my truck with Smarty and DD3's.... when I stomp the throttle all I get is a big black cloud. If I ease the throttle it's off like a rocket.

 

but does it do it going down the road? and if you give it full throttle and then back off it goes faster?

 

if I'm cruising, the truck still responds better to easing into the throttle as opposed to mashing it.

Your issue doesn't sound like an APPS problem.

Are you really running a Drag Comp, Smarty and 125 hp injectors through a stock turbo??

 

yes the egt's only get high if i stay in it but i really dont like going those type of speeds on the street
