it looks as though I'm going to need a new APPS.... tried the reset, no dice. Still have the check engine light, the P0122 and stumbling/bucking truck.

Can I get this from the local Cummins dealer or will I have to go through Dodge??

 

I'd say that Mopar4Less will have one of the best prices around. I got my APPS from them when I replaced mine last year for around $315, which was $115 cheaper than the cheapest dealer I called. The latest P/N for manual transmission trucks when I got mine is P/N 53031576AD and for the auto trans trucks is P/N 53031576AH.
