I've never had it happen personally, but I believe it shows up as a dead pedal. For example, the engine is idling, but stepping down on the pedal doesn't rev it up at all. Or you're driving down the road and suddenly the truck acts like you just pulled your foot off the pedal.

I'm fighting the same issue right now....taking it all apart and trying to adj after resetting did no good last weekend. The voltage "range" and the reset doesn't seem to be working either...I just get .10vdc. Not sure where to go from here.
I had the same problem that showed up as the Torque Converter lock up Clutch cycling between 40 and 50 mph under light acceleration. I reset the APPS and it didn't help, so I tried two new APPS and it still had the same problem. I cleaned all of the battery terminals and still had the problem until I located a slightly loose and corroded ground on the engine block. After cleaning that, I had no more problem. Fortunately, I didn't spend any money throwing expensive parts at the problem since my son is a Technician at a Dodge dealership and was able to get me the APPS for zero $$$.
