another Midwest Vp44 installed...
I put a new 44 in the 2001 on saturday.
Its like a new truck now!
took about 4 hours to do it. Im a industrial diesel tech by trade, and i would say it was eaiser than most i have done.
Got my comp in EZ mode right now, duno if i should tap the wire yet or not.
I know when i had my stock pump tapped i couldn't really use the comp on 3 or higher or my clutch would scream at me
Oh and the stock one made it to 207,535 miles, and it had been abused pretty bad
Just thought Id share.
