Alternator/ Charging Issue

Hey Gang , yesterday I was driving and noticed the charging gauge ( factory) wasn’t quite up past 14 volts where it normally is. I came to a stop light and as the truck was idling it dropped down to 12 is .... I took off and as I got the truck up to higher speed and revs , the alternator was back to showing 14 + volts . Then slowing down it starts to drop . It’s a 2 year 5 months AC delco with 2 year warranty . Ugggghhh . I’ll check for codes today , and borrow a charging tester . Does anything come to mind off the hop ? Thanks

Do you always key in on the gauge? I have noticed my temp gauge wandering between straight up and falling off to the left lately. Figuring the thermostat is just regulating and I hadn't noticed it much before....Sounds like time for a multimeter test.
