i need some advice from any experienced chrysler trans techs out there. i rebuilt a 47re for my friends truck, his o/d burnt out bad, sent chunks all through. he supplied another transmission from the bone yard and i gave it a re-seal. after installation gears 1-3 are perfect. 3rd lock up ok then transmission hunts between 3-4 several times then finally settles into 4th and then nice firm lock up, gov pressure are good, replaced sensors, valve body, and checked powers and grounds at all sensors and solenoids, seem ok. will create a template tommorow with the drb and view monday. any ideas out there?

 

Some possibilities:
Fubarred the OD clutch clearance setup.
Cooler circuit not cleaned - inadequate flow.
Small plastic bleed orfice missing in OD clutch.
OD clutch discs grabbing in OD housing.
Incorrect parts installed??????
