hello,,
having issues with 2002,,,this has happened several times now,,,start truck , runs for 30-40 seconds, dies,,try to restart,, nothing,,,then wait a minute or two,,then it starts.
hmmm, just replaced fuel filter ,,was dirty, i thought maybe this was issue.
then it did it again today.
so, i am thinking factory pump in tank is going or injector pump is going ,,and it is orginal vp44 pump..with 190,00!!!!!
i thought of adding lift pump so i dont have to drop tank, but from video i just wateched,,i still must drop tank....

any suggestions???
it is a stock truck ,,just a driver,,the lift pumps are double the price,,,??

Check for codes, to see what the problem is rather than just replacing parts, as some of the parts you listed are big $$$.

i was at oreillys a few weeks ago ,,and ask if they could check truck for codes,,,guy ask if i had alerts or icons on,,i said no,,as i dont,,,so he said then nohting will show up if they are no icons light up??

i have fuel pump on motor not tank,,figured that out,,,it was replaced about 10-12 years ago...thought would be cheap item to start with.
