It is OK, a common question. Their is a bolt on the side, midway I think(Drivers side), that you can check your level. There is a panel on the side for the 4x4 take off, I believe. It is recommended to run 1 quart over for proper lubricartion. Penzoil Syncromesh meets the Chrysler specs for this tranny,. It can be added at the top bolt hole on that cover. If you change fluid, pull that cover off. There is a magnet in there that needs cleaning.
That is about it(some people pull the shifetr to add fluid, more complicated, time consuming).

Now would be the time to add one of those tranny filters from Geno's if you want too. Oil wise, I'd stick with the factory stuff, Redline MTL, or the Pennzoil stuff, i've heard good about all 3. I have the RoyalPurple Syncromax in mine, overfilled as Supr stated above, and I'm not all that impressed with the way it shifts with that stuff in it.
