ABS light/wheel speed sensor
This thing is driving me crazy. Had my brakes done last week, the ABS light and brake light came on. Took it back in, the wheel speed sensor wires had come in contact with the rotor on the pass. side and cut the wire. So they took my hub apart and respliced the wire (2 hours). Drove 10 miles, did it again.
The hub just has a groove in it that the wire runs through, and for some reason my wire insists on jumping up onto the rotor. Afraid to tie it down, might rip itself off. What can I do to fix this? New wheel speed sensor and wires? DOT will kill me if they inspect my truck with the ABS not working. On the driver's side, there's a bracket that holds the wire out of the way of the rotor.

Personally I would replace the sensor to be sure the wiring is damaged. Winter time road salts etc with eat it up. Most likely your going to disassemble the front driverside hub and fix the bracket that hold the wire in place. Make sure its routed properly. Look at the passenger side since it right...
