I think something finally died on the truck. I started my truck up today, and let her warm up for a bit. Then I pulled oput of the driveway, and I had no power. I gassed it all the way, and nothing (Barely moved). The check engine light came on, and stayted on. The FP gauge read pretty normal (11 at idle, 5-6 WOT). So I gotta figure out what is going on with this truck. Did I kill my VP44, or the Line Pump? How do I check it?

11 psi of fuel pressure at idle and 5-6WOT, sounds like the IP is about dead, due to a weak lift pump. What codes do you have?

I wonder if a lightning storm can make any of the electronics "lose their way".

 

I called some shops, and they told me the LP is fine. I ordered the Superchips programmer from www.dpsdirect.com These guys are aMAZING. the customer service I got from themw as out of this world. I know whereI am getting all therest of my parts from.

I will get the programmer, and read the codes. Hopefully it is just a sensor.
