Problem - Sometimes on engine start up engine will over rev at barely touching pedal. Very touchy not driveable. Sometimes you can turn off and restart and its OK. Sometimes not. Pulled codes Po606 is only code. Any suggestions ?

 

Sounds like a bad ECM but I would check all of the grounds before condemning it.

 

How cold is it where you are having this issue?

 

Temp does not change how it acts at all . I have been going back over things and it has also lost signel to the lift pump relay from ECM so looking like I need ECM. Anyone know a good source?

 

Probably through a Cummins shop. Not sure if they get rebuilt or not....

 

Look on the classified sections my buddy just had to replace his in his 02 and I think he paid 300 for it. Beats paying the 1,500 for reman one.
