hi i got 96 dodge cummins automatic. when im driving in D the transmission shifts fine. it just doesnt wanne go in fourth gear(OD). is the tps bad? PCM? id did recent oil and filter change. thanks

 

i forget to mention that i was runing the truck for a few miles low on tranny oil!!!

 

this should have been posted in the 12V section not the 24V. but do you have a tranny temp gauge? any mods to the truck? and how many miles is a "few"? i'm not a guru on tranny's by any means but this information will help others respond appropriatley (sp?) to your problem. sounds to me like maybe OD burnt up.
