I checked to see if I had the dreaded #53 block and i don't thank goodness... I do however have the 55 block according to the driver side of the block under the I/p. I searched for info about this block but no one seems to say anything about. Anyone know about these ?? Please help

 

55's are good blocks. You can forget about it and focus on other issues, like lift pumps and VP's.
