I was going to ask a similar question.
The PO told me that you have to shift the transfer case between 2X and 4X while it was rolling.
I tested the system yesterday.
Stopped truck. Placed in neutral and the t-case went pretty easily into neutral and 4 low and the 4X4 light came on.
Did the same to 4 high and it went into gear fine but I didn't see the light come on.
I didn't drive it in 4 high so it may need to roll to go into lock.
Do these systems have any known issues with them?
I may convert the front to manual hubs and 1 piece axle shaft some day to bypass the actuator system
