4x4 issues

Hey gang, is there anyone around here who's pretty familiar with the interior of a 241HD t case? It won't engage the front driveshaft. I can't hear any growling, turning it by hand it's smooth, no filings in the oil. I checked my shift lever, full range of motion, clicks into each spot just fine. I still have low range, but same story. Is there a clutch in there to adjust? A shifter arm? Something vac operated? Some wisdom would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Shift arm, but nothing to adjust. Sounds like perhaps a broken shift fork? I would think you could feel it not engage though.
Here is a power flow diagram so you can visualize it, as you see, pretty easy to trace.

Do you mean the front drive shaft doesn't turn or just that you don't get 4 wheel drive? if it's that you don't get 4X4 then perhaps it's the vacuum operated axle disconnect that is the most common problem. Look for a vacuum line off on the drivers side up high close to the fire wall. Do your heater controls work? If not then you have lost your vacuum.

It's' in the t case, cause I put a manual control on my CAD after wrecking some vac lines. I can feel something engaging when I go to 4H, but it feels too light, as if I'm engaged in 4H on the drive sprocket, but not putting power to the driven sprocket. Ive got half a notion that it's in the chaincase, whatever it is. I'll update as I know more, thanks guys.
