24V Lift Pump Installation
24V Lift Pump Installation
I've decided my intermittent power problem is most likely the lift pump. Any links to a thorough explanation on how to do this? Thanks.
I will let you know if this is my root problem. Others have been describing the same issue of running good for a while then, no power for a while, then back to normal.

Please fill in your truck info so we can see what your working on.
Have you tried hooking up a fuel pressure gage to see if it is for sure the lift pump? If it is, the change out is pretty straight forward. Just be sure you don't loose the o-rings and to "bump" the starter a couple of times after it changed.

If you do end up replacing the LP, I used these instructions and they worked very well.

I just did mine last weekend and those instructions look about right. The factory service manual would have you do it from the bottom and the first thing it says to do is remove the starter.
OK, that's second. The first is disconnect the batteries.
