2002 transfer case

My case busted tonight coming home.i haven’t worked on it yet but was wanting to get ideas before I started.. I’ve heard common from front joints binding up .....any tips on it would be appreciated!

Pulled case today. Front carden joint was locked up. As a FYI,, if you’re gonna pull a case, cut you a 14 mm wrench to about two inches long.
