2002 Dodge ram 3500 4X4 6 Speed

Hello,
I just bought a 2002 Dodge ram 3500 4X4 6 Speed with 237 K miles with brand new dealer installed tranny and clutch (100Kmiles warranty)
I owned 2 more same truck before....First one was Ok with decent power, but second one was and still is sluggish like a turtle. But this new one I just bought is like a race car. Even though I drive diesel, I really don't know much about them. This new truck is very fast and little loud (exhaust). How can I find out what they did to it?...Where and What should I look for?
happy Turkey Day
Thanks in advance.

maybe this new one is running the way they all should be running. The one running sluggish, any codes? maybe a bad lp or ip or both? Turbo Problem? I'd look for codes and start there.

Could have lower gears than the other two. May be chipped or have a power puck or boost fooler on it. Bigger injectors would help too. 237K is gettting broken in. How'd you manage a 100K Mile warranty on the trans?

6 speeds are tough, it's 47RE's that are weak links
