Im going to buy a receiver hitch from an ol boy that has one for sale except its from a 1500 truck. Will it work on my 2500 CDT?

 

im pretty sure it will if you give me a part number i can look at work to see if there the same part numbers for the two trucks.

 

he says its a reese receiver so there is no factory part number

i would need the reese number i work at advance auto we sell reeses all the time.

 

The frames are different size, in that the 2500 is much heavier than the 1500 but the hitch might be the same .
As far as bolting up to stock holes not sure but good luck.
You might be able to cross refrence it on a "JC Wittney" sight.

 

look on the reese web site and see what they recomend for both trucks
