My brother in law has a 2000 monaco MH with 24 valve 5.9 275 hp and he was wondering if he had the same pump as the dodge pick-ups? Is there any thing to look out for with this year motor? Also, how about kdp falling out and 53 block on this year? How reliable is pump on this year? My 94 motorhome has 12 valve with p-7100 pump. What is the difference between these 2 pumps? 12valve pump is mechanical and bullet proof, 24V is electrically controlled and failure prone, especially if you dont have a fuel pressure gauge to monitor pressure

 

so he's going to be the first w/a bombed motorhome @ the track?

You can check for the 53 block by looking at it and see if the number is there or not.

KDP, no if it has the updated gear case. Only was to verify is to pull the front cover and look.

They can have the same problems as a Dodge 24V...lift pump and VP problems.
