Hey guys I have a 2000 24V automatic with a bad VP44 and need head studs. My buddy is selling his 2002 H.O. 6speed and his engine has injectors, turbo with no waste gate, built VP44 and head studs. Could I swap his engine and ECM over to my 2000 and put my 2000 engine and electronics in his? I already have a Stage 5 ATS trans in my truck. Also I was going to buy him a regular H.O. pump for his 02 and take his built VP44 and put on my 2000, but its cheaper to just swap engines if its doable. Can a VP44 H.O. 6speed pump work on a 2000 automatic engine? This is my first diesel so I'm learning a lot as i go
