02 ECM help
So here is what I need help with.
-I have a bad ecm in my 2002 and I picked up an ECM from a 2001.
-I understand that it needs to be reflashed, but im looking for an answer on compatability.
-The earlier cummins used either a 2 or 3 wire oil pressure sensor and the ecm I picked up was one of them.
-Now my original ecm used a 1 wire setup and is now considered a "switch" and not a sensor.
Once the 2001 ecm is reflashed to my vin#, will it work with my 1 wire oil switch?
