02 blowing white smoke

Hey Guys!, Its been a while but I am looking for some help with an issue with my Dads 02 VP truck. Here is the deal. When first started it starts and idles well until it gets to about 1500 rpm then it starts blowing white smoke and missing. If we shut it off and then restart it runs fine. We just replaced the lift pump and are running about 12psi under load. He has had a fuel pressure gauge on it for a while now to moniter the whole lift pump situation. The truck only has 40,000 miles with a six speed and is BONE stock. Any help would be appreciated. PS we aren't getting any codes ither

Could be a blown intake boot, antifreeze in cylinders from blown head gasket, or a failing vp....first two don't throw codes.

Check both the coolant and engine oil for milky appearances or odd levels. Check for any codes in the OBDII system.

I would not rule out the possibility of an injector going bad either. Unburned fuel will show as white smoke too.
