01 pump failure and warranty

Wife's ride. She claimed and I later finally got it to stall with me as well. Seemed like a possible tps, but no...local Dodge dealer found that the inj. pump was shot. I have an old acquaintance that is the warranty ramrod there. She told me not to hold my breath, but would call it in and see if Dodge would help us out on it since the truck has 103,XXX on it. In the meantime, I called Cummins(they send their pumps out)then a local diesel shop. They quoted me 1180 reman and 1575 new. My acquaintance that Dodge would install inj. pump/labor. Oh, and one more thing, guess what? Yep, xfr pump is out. We pay for that/labor. So, could be worse. 575 against 2000 or more. Thanks Dodge, and where do I get a fuel pressure gauge?

a better question may be "where do I get a FASS System???"

I just had my LP replaced yesterday (luckily Im still under warranty).....When my warranty is finished a FASS will be going on or the 24V will be going.....

I have been reading up on the FASS(on other posts). What about this Holley Blue Pump route? I was thinking I might, this time, go ahead with this lift pump deal, since Dodge is covering ALL of the VP/labor. Then, after I get it out, I could try backing the lift pump up with one of the Red/Blue pumps I've heard about. Whatcha think?

There are a few here who use and like the Holley blue. After my experiences with them on a drag race car, and seeing others at the track, there is no way I would want that pump on anything I had to actually rely on for day to day operation.
